In mild climates they can be used as architectural plants, for instance along the edge of a pond, as they require moist soil. Most plant these in containers, and they can be great house plants. These unique and exotic tropical beauties are super easy to grow and care for and don't even require fertilizer.

Needs well drained potting mix, with slow release fertiliser application in Spring and late Summer. Keep moist but do not allow to stand in water. Blooms all spring, summer, and fall! Indoors grow in a sunny window. Trim as needed!
